Story of Hazrat Adam (A.S.) part 1

Amazing and interesting details about Hazrat Adam (A.S.) could be obtained through Islam. Traditions in Jews and Christians appear similar in many aspects of life but they have different opinions about the teachings of Quran. Some people believe that Hazrat Adam (A.S.) was made by using dust of earth while others believe that mud was used for the making of Hazrat Adam (A.S.).

Before the creation of Hazrat Adam (A.S.), Allah (s.w.t.) said to angels that I am planning to start generations of humans on earth. Angels said that humans will cause different types of problems on earth and make errors which will result in shedding of blood and the like issues. We are here to praise You and obey You in all matters. Allah (s.w.t.) said to angels that I am aware of such facts which are not known to you.

These are details which are mentioned in Quran for guidance of humanity. In this manner the story of Hazrat Adam (A.S.) is started. He was the first human being who was sent on earth. Soil was used by Allah (s.w.t.) for creation of Hazrat Adam (A.S.) and different varieties were taken from earth to be used in that soil. Angels were given the task to collect soil from all parts of the earth.

They collected different types of soil which results in the making of Hazrat Adam (A.S.). Different types of humans on earth these days are due to the different varieties of soil used for making of Hazrat Adam (A.S.). We can see in Quran about the soil used for making of Hazrat Adam (A.S.). Allah (s.w.t.) has used different names about the soil used for making process.

All forms of soil are discussed which show that these are used in the making process. Allah (s.w.t.) gave honor and respect to Hazrat Adam (A.S.) and ordered all the angels to bow before him as He made him superior with many qualities. All angels obeyed Allah (s.w.t.) and bowed before Hazrat Adam (A.S.) except Iblees (Satan).

Order from Allah (s.w.t.) to bow before Hazrat Adam (A.S.) was only based on honor and respect and it was not related with worship. It is said that body of Hazrat Adam (A.S.) trembled when it is given life and thanked Allah (s.w.t.) for the blessings and kindness. Allah (s.w.t.) gave special qualities to Hazrat Adam (A.S.) as he was the first human and he is the starting of all humanity on earth.

Instructions were given to Hazrat Adam (A.S.) after his creation to greet some angels. He used assalamu alaikum for greeting and these words are used these days in the Muslim community. Angels replied in the same manner and said waalaikumussalam. These are ways of greetings which were started at that time and used by Muslims all over the world. All followers of Islam are given instructions to spread peace in the world.

Allah (s.w.t.) guided Hazrat Adam (A.S.) and gave him knowledge related with names of all things on earth. Main purpose of creation of humanity is also told which was to worship Allah (s.w.t.). All things on this earth are created for humanity so that they could complete their task and fulfill their duties for which they have been created
